Helping the cause and finding out more
We already have several local people in our community who kindly contribute to the upkeep of the Church building on a regular and ad hoc basis. Coupled with gift aid from taxpayers, this provides funds for the Trust to carry out reactive repair and maintenance around the Church.
But we really need our Community to help with the fundraising initiative. It would be great if we could increase the number of people who already contribute, either on a regular basis OR with a one-off contribution.
As mentioned, contributions to the Building Trust go specifically to the maintenance of the building and are not used for any other purpose.
Church Visits
If anyone would like to see firsthand, the challenges the Trust faces in maintaining the Church, a tour of the Church can be arranged, and this can include a climb up the Tower; that in itself is worthwhile to see the Church from a different angle, AND to see where it sits within the geography of our community.
Whilst this activity continues...
Our Church continues to function as normal with regular services on the first and third Sundays of the month plus Easter and Christmas celebrations. Please be assured that we currently continue to use the Church without hindrance from the leaks and issues with the building infrastructure.
